If you're looking for a unique, action-packed, information-rich, imagination-igniting financial education program for your youth or adults, ages 8 to 108, who need to learn basic financial literacy principles, you're in the right place.

Imagine for a moment that the world of money is simply a game and that all you have to do to win the game is learn, and use, the rules to that game...wouldn't that be an amazing place to live from?

Well, guess what? Money really IS just a game and if you learn the simple, time-tested rules that financially free people use to get, and stay, financially free...YOU can be financially free, too. Honestly...it's not rocket science as they say...but there are some hard and fast rules to the game that everyone needs to know.

"Just wanted to say we had HEAPS of FUN playing the Money Game. Because it was my first time, and I wanted to be sure all the kids 'won' - I opted for the short version where they received $200 for each asset they owned.

I chose to make the kids 'work' for me at the start of EVERY round. ( I used a whistle and would shout out Monday/Tues/Wed.... every 10 seconds or so). I even made them do 'overtime' on Saturday one day which led to a very interesting discussion.

I also made the kids who were 'free' sit out when the others were still 'working' when they were busy doing star jumps etc, to make a bigger impact.

Then, when they were 'all' free they could decide if they wanted to work or not ... and this time they could CHOOSE their work- which of course led to really good discussions around working by CHOICE at something YOU like doing.

NOW I am just trying to find a way that I can do this FULL TIME so that EVERY kids in my city at least will have experienced the MONEY GAME." Anita from New Zealand!

And now...with the introduction of the amazingly effective financial education game that we call, The Money Game™ you can teach kids and adults about money in a way that is fun, relevant and effective.

Success Zone Classrooms - a brain-based approach to engagement and self-managed classroom behaviour

Based on current neuroscience, lessons from best-practice coaching and expert classroom leadership

Over 80 A4 pages of classroom resources, coaching guides, practical professional information, articles and hints!

Student behaviour management need not be the problem and drama that it currently is!

Following the release of The Success Zone, a recently published book about the mind states and behaviours of success, Success Zone Classrooms is an electronic resource for teachers complete with lesson plans, student worksheets, coaching resources (for coaching students towards self-managed behaviour), articles and links to related resources.

It provides teachers and students with an understanding of the mind and brain during engagement (the Blue Zone) and disengagement (the Red Zone). Based on this understanding, teachers lead their students towards building a classroom behaviour management plan based on behaviours that lead to a Blue Zone Classroom.

Teachers also learn about the three simple, but essential behaviours that lead to engagement in others (students, peers and parents).

The manual then provides coaching resources to assist teachers to formally and informally coach students towards self-managed behaviour.

  • Imagine your classroom with a huge reduction in managing student behaviour!
  • Imagine having more time to deliver your curriculum content!
  • Teach your students about their brain, and the mind states of learning success
  • Use student's knowledge of their mind and brain to create engagement in your classroom
  • Learn the three simple teacher behaviours that trigger engagement
  • Use classroom lesson plans and worksheet masters for students
  • Use coaching techniques and conversations to assist students to manage their own behaviour
  • Improve your behaviour management skills and techniques
  • Create classroom environments that motivate both you and your students!

Community: Where We Live, Work and Play

What better way to begin first grade! Students will be able to define a community as a place where people live, work, and play. They will learn about different types of communities, both large and small. Finally, students will have opportunities to act as community helpers as they learn about being a responsible citizen and how everyone in a community must work together.

Geometry: 2-Dimensional Shapes

This unit not only offers a review of the four basic shapes, but it dives a bit deeper to reveal the commonalities between them. Students will have various hands-on opportunities to manipulate the shapes, identify them in their own environment, recognize that they can have different positions in space, and learn to classify them in terms of 2-dimensional and/or being a polygon.

The Five Senses

This unit teaches students how to consciously use their senses to gather information about their environment. As each sense is touched upon, students will engage in sensory explorations to discover different textures, how the sense of taste and smell work together, how people who are blind and deaf use their senses, what colors are made of, and most importantly, how to be active listeners.

Stop wasting time searching and planning! Its all been done for you. Use it!

By clicking on the “add to cart” button, you will receive immediate access to a flexible plan that allows you to choose when to use it. How To Make A Difference: Unlock The Secrets Of Successful Classroom Teaching.

An Introduction from Marjan Glavac

Dear Fellow Teacher,

I used to dread going to school in the morning to teach. I would have a big knot in the pit of my stomach just

thinking about my class.

  • I really love to learn.
  • I really love to teach.
  • I really wanted to make a difference in the lives of my students, but I kept getting frustrated.
  • I started to think about getting out of teaching, quitting and changing careers.
  • I was fed up, frustrated and fearful.
Remember when you graduated from teachers’ college…

You had all that energy, enthusiasm and expertise to make a difference, especially with disadvantaged students who

struggle to get through each and every day? You looked forward to teaching any and all students in your class. You

spent an incredible amount of time getting your classroom set up during the summer.

It was a warm, welcoming and wonderful classroom—one of the best classrooms in the entire school. You were nervous

that first day, not knowing what to expect. Then you met your students. They sat in their desks, alert, attentive and anxious

to be taught by you. The first day was an exhausting but an exhilarating, exciting experience. You couldn’t wait to get back

to school and teach them some more.

Then, it happened…

It may have been in the first week, or in the first month or in the first term, but it happened.

Your students aren’t attentive any more. They’re off task. They’re defiant. The hours and hours you’ve spent on those

picture perfect lesson plans seem to go out the window. Your students are becoming more and more defiant. You get

more and more frustrated with them, lose your cool more often and go home empty, exhausted and emotionally upset.

In spite of all these problems and challenges, you’re still passionate about teaching. You still love to learn. You still love

to teach. You still love children.

But, you’re running on empty, especially with those students who defy you more and more often, who seem to have taken

over your class, who don’t seem to care anymore. You don’t know what to do. You don’t want to confess to other teachers

that you’re experiencing problems with your class. That would be a sign of weakness. You don’t want to confess to your

principal that you’re experiencing problems. That might mean not getting rehired or worse—that you weren’t meant to be

a teacher.

You don’t want to talk to any parents, because word would quickly get out that you can’t control your class, that you’re an

ineffective, incapable and worse, an incompetent teacher. The school year has barely started and you’re already counting

the days, hours and minutes to the end of the term.

You keep hoping each day will be better, but instead it gets worse. You start thinking about getting out of teaching, quitting

and changing careers. You’re fed up, frustrated and fearful. You want the joy, the respect and the fulfillment from a

ewarding teaching career, but now, you just don’t know what to do.

How do I know all this?

To put it very simply, I know exactly what you’re going through in a very personal way because I’ve been there myself.

In fact, I’m still there. Teaching is tough, time-consuming and a trial by fire. No one really understands what it’s like to teach

all by yourself, all alone, isolated from adults in front of a group of disinterested, disruptive and defiant students, than

another teacher.

Classroom Discipline 101: How to get control of any classroom

Classroom Discipline 101 is an Ebook written by Los Angeles Veteran Teacher and Classroom Management Expert Craig Seganti. It covers concrete, proven discipline techniques for even the toughest classrooms.

Price $39.95  Click Here! to purchase

Here is a message from Craig.

My name is Craig Seganti. I have been a teacher in the Los Angeles’ School Systems for over 20 years. I am not a professional ad writer. But I do know how to get a classroom disciplined under any circumstance.

During my career, I have:

classroom discipline tip oneTaught over 11,000 different secondary students in the inner-city and elsewhere around Los Angeles of all ages, abilities and ethnic backgrounds.

classroom discipline tip twoBeen a Full Time Teacher, Long Term Substitute or Day to Day Substitute in Over 80 Secondary Schools.

classroom discipline tip threeTaught Juvenile Offenders in the Los Angeles County Probation Camps.

In that time I have faced any and all classroom discipline problems you can possibly imagine, including the ones you are facing now.

Over the years I have developed a classroom discipline plan which virtually eliminates behavior problems in any classroom. Which of these scenarios would you like to stop right now:

behavior problem oneThe Redirector—you end up redirecting students several times until your whole lesson seems like a redirecting class.

behavior problem twoOld Yeller—you have to yell ‘quiet!’ several times a class, just to have the noise start simmering again when you start the lesson.

behavior problem threeLost in Space—students are running around the classroom, out of their seats and you
have no idea where to start, shouting feebly ‘sit down!’

behavior problem fourThe Inner-City Special—students are entering and leaving the class at will, talking, shouting, listening to Mp3 players and throwing things while you stand there feeling powerless. Otherwise known as ‘Invisible Man’ (or woman)—it's as if you don't exist.

behavior problem fiveThe Lawyer—students lie to you, saying ‘I wasn't talking’ or whatever other misbehavior they are doing and you stand there foolishly arguing with them.

Do you find yourself SO busy that you're unable to properly prepare THAT speech for Monday's assembly - the one you particularly wanted to deliver well?

Without meaning to, you leave the speech until the last minute because administrative tasks and meetings have swallowed all your time. You rush through the preparation and end up delivering a second-rate speech which doesn't to any justice to the topic or to your reputation as a professional.

Well, worry no more. Speeches for Teachers and Pricipals offers 31 speeches for you! That's enough to cover all the topics and problems you could wish to address in one school year. And they're all contained in ONE ebook. All you need to do is to download the book to your computer, print out the speech you want (or, even better print out the whole book and have them ready in your filing cabinet) then read it out.

Can you imagine what it will be like? You won't have to spend your valuable time writing a speech for the REST of the school year!

And if you're one of those people who knows what they want to say but occasionally lacks the inspiration to make your words effective (we're all like that at times, aren't we?) then your problems are over. They've taken the time to do the research and be inspired so YOU WON'T HAVE TO.

Robyn is an experienced school principal, university lecturer and educational consultant. She's given over 100 speeches and written over 400 newsletter items.

Wendy Nichols is a Drama and English teacher. Public performances are her specialty.

Between them they have 39 years of teaching in 14 schools. Teaching both elementary and high school and are parents. They KNOW the type of speech that turns people off. They've sat there and watched the eyes glaze over and the fidgeting start. They have sat in Information Nights at  their own children's schools and heard the same dreary speech year after year.

So if you're looking for something fresh. Something that will make the kids sit up and listen, then you NEED this ebook.

Including

  • Not one graduation speech, but three (One for the elementary school, one for middle school and one for the final phase of schooling. You can always adapt one of the speeches you don't need and have two, or even three years of speeches.)

  • Four teacher farewell speeches. Two for those who are retiring and two for teachers who are moving elsewhere. (One speech is deliberately innocuous - for the teacher you're secretly pleased to see go.)

  • Two welcome speeches. One for elementary school and one for middle or senior school. Again, adapt the one you don't want and you have two years' worth of speeches.

  • A motivational speech to staff

  • A speech to stop the whining. Whoops, sorry! A speech about the culture of complaint. Wouldn't it be blissful if parents and students had only positive things to say!)

  • One to encourage academic excellence.

  • One to inspire those who struggle academically. (This is Wendy's favorite.)

  • Student Leadership Induction

  • Awards Ceremony - honoring excellence

  • Persistence and hard work. (This is Robyn's favorite.)

  • Creating a school culture

  • Breaking up for the holidays

  • And one for teachers on the last day of the term

As well, we have speeches for Special Days

  • Mother's Day

  • Father's Day

  • Memorial Day/Remembrance Day

We've also included Speeches for Parents

  • Parent Involvement

  • Middle Schooling

  • What children need (with sensible advice on how parents can provide it)

  • Speech to the PTA

  • Thank you speech to parents and guardians

  • Thank you speech to volunteers

And last, but definitely not least there is  one on Honouring Teachers.
